Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in Australasia. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full Grams.

Please provide us a street address and contact phone number for prompt delivery by Courier. Please consider your delivery address carefully as the courier drivers do not call prior to delivery and we are unable to contact individual drivers to determine delivery times.

All goods are shipped from our warehouse to your door so you save time and money. Delivery times depend on a parcel’s place of origin and its destination. Generally you will receive the parcel in one to five business days however delays may occur. We will attempt to advise you of any delays we are aware of promptly however these delays are sometimes beyond our control. Such delays are not grounds for a refund whilst goods are in transit and have not been confirmed as lost or returned to us. No refund shall be paid until the delivery issue is settled with the carrier under any circumstances.

Your shipping cost is automatically calculated through Australia Post or our courier service. The costs is determined by destination and size and weight and is shown at checkout. Your delivery will generally be delivered between 7.30am and 5.30pm weekdays so please consider this when nominating a delivery address. A card will be left by the delivery service if no one is home and the receiver must then arrange redelivery by courier or collection from the post office. The courier may leave the item without signature if instructed and safe to do so.

 

Please Note: smartmeterstore.com.au will use all reasonable efforts to have your order delivered to the nominated address you supplied at check out. We do not accept liability, whether for direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising due to you [the customer] providing an incorrect address it is your responsibility to provide a correct delivery address, and www.smartmeterstore.com.au takes no responsibility for delivery to incorrect addresses specified on an order by you.

Delivery times

Most orders dispatched within 24 hrs. Urgent requirements should be highlighted.

Approximate delivery times once dispatched are:

Melbourne Metro  overnight

Brisbane Metro  1-3 working days

Sydney Metro 1-2 working days

Hobart Metro  1- 4 working days

Launceston Metro 1- 4 working days

Adelaide Metro 1- 4 working days

Non metro and remote locations 7-14 working days

If we can't dispatch your order within 72 hours, we will contact via your email address so alternative arrangements can be made. This applies on Bulk orders too.
